The client, after being shown a hand painted design, ordered the eagle as a ruby wedding anniversary present for his wife.

         The mountain is a pale blue mineral stone, The eagle is made from18ct yellow and pink gold with ruby eyes, the tree and the nest are made from yellow gold, the eggs are rubies. The bottom of the inside of the plinth is painted blue and green covered with clear acrylic to represent the sea. The rocks are Lapis. The whole piece is set on a hand made polished mahogony plinth and took several months to complete.
