The Scarecrow
The scarecrow was my first attempt at making works of art in 1990. I wanted to make sure I could make them to the standard I wanted.
The scarecrow and the bird pulling the worm are made from18ct yellow gold, they are standing on a base of rough Citrine looking like earth. It was presented in a leather bound case so that you could only see the top surface.
This piece was sold by "Garrards" the crown jewellers in 1991.
